Pink Rose Wicca: An Intro

Pink Rose Wicca is a Wiccan tradition, founded in Seattle Washington by The Pink Priestess, also known as Nona Drake. In the Pink Rose tradition, initiated members are taught basic Wiccan teachings as well as to live by the meanings of the pink rose.

Rd.com defines the meaning of the Pink Rose as such, "Pink carries with it the connotation of grace and elegance, as well as sweetness and poetic romance. Dark pink roses are symbolic of gratitude and appreciation, and are a traditional way to say thanks. Light pink roses are associated with gentleness and admiration, and can also be used as an expression of sympathy". All of these messages are deeply engrained in the roots of the Pink Rose Wiccan tradition, and used as a basis in the teachings of our magic practices.

Some of our basic principles of our tradition include:

·        A firm belief that proper gratitude should be shown both in the mundane and magickal world for the blessings that are bestowed upon us.

·        Understanding that all interactions should be done with grace and poise.

·        Magick shall be worked with dedicated intention as opposed to only slight inclination.

·        Sympathy will be given in proper circumstances, and done so sincerely.
